24V LED backlight boards for illuminated signs and lightboxes
Compare six rigid LED backlight boards for lightboxes, advertising graphics and illuminated sign faces. These PCB panel modules sit behind the display face and provide an alternative to linear lens bars when your cabinet layout calls for an area of light sources.
Start with the board footprint and available installation space. Then compare the board quantity, power, connection arrangement and white-light specification. The finished result depends on the assembled lightbox, including the diffuser, graphic and distance between the LEDs and the face.

All six references below list DC24V input, SMD2835 LEDs and a 120° beam angle. Power and light output are per individual board or panel, rather than per completed lightbox. Dimensions are shown with the long side first for the rectangular boards.
Choose the footprint around your display
The 300mm square panel provides a larger single footprint. The 300 × 75mm boards provide a narrow rectangular option, while the 75mm square boards give a smaller building block. Use the dimensions to prepare a layout with room for the fixing points, connections and maintenance access.
Several models share the same published dimensions and electrical figures. Keep the full ordering reference when comparing their drawings. Check the contact positions and joint arrangement against your assembly before treating them as interchangeable.
The product illustrations show screw-fastened metal bridge joints on several versions. Confirm the required bridge pieces, terminals, fasteners and cable arrangement with the selected model. These are rigid modules; do not plan to bend them or cut across the PCB to make the layout fit.
Specify one white-light version for the project
The product tables list a white-light ordering range of 3000–8000K. State the required colour temperature when requesting samples and repeat orders. A listed ordering range does not mean that the board changes colour temperature during use.
Evaluate a representative sample with the intended graphic and diffuser. Board lumens describe the light source, while the brightness and uniformity seen by the viewer also depend on the cabinet construction and module layout. Agree the lightbox depth and board spacing through the sample evaluation.
Plan the 24V supply and installation
Calculate the total load from the actual board count and the selected per-board power. Ask us to confirm the supply capacity, cable layout and connection package for that arrangement. The electrical values in this collection apply to the named boards; use the product drawing and quotation to approve the complete assembly.
For an exposed or damp installation, describe the environment before ordering. These board specifications do not establish an IP rating for the finished lightbox.
